Cosmic Dawn is a retro flavoured, singleplayer fps featuring fast paced combat with a wide variety of weapons and distinct enemies. Game modes include a single player campaign, wave-based endless survival, speedrun and a procedural level generator. The project aspires to capture the magic of 90’s shooters, while adding to the mix competitive play via leaderboards, difficulty-tiered highscores and potentially (given the time and budget) cooperative multiplayer. It’s being developed using the Unity engine and is set to release via Steam in early access mid 2022.
